The Cookie Book is the first book I am featuring.

I am very excited about this 2007 recipe book, "Catherine Crowe's Comforting Cookie Compendium".

This cookie recipe book includes 17 homestyle cookie recipes, 2 frosting recipes, a cookie poem, baking and cookie decorating hints, and a general metric conversion chart.

Recipes included in the book are Raisin Oatmeal Cookies, Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate Drop Cookies, Lemon Cherry Drop Cookies, White Wedding Cookies, Ginger Snaps, Several Sugar Cookies and Cut-Out Cookie recipes and more.

This recipe book is styled around Catherine Crowe, the crow doll who has travelled all the way to Australia and back again. She has been a great help in mixing and guarding the cookies as they were being baked, and even designed one herself, titled, "Crow's Foot Sugar Cookies." (Which appear on the cover photo, featured above, along with Catherine.)

The recipe book measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", is papercover and has photos of Catherine and the cookies. It would make a wonderful addition to your recipe collection, as well as a thoughtful book gift for a friend or family member.
